Baylor line is moving??

Baylor line that came out last night at -4 surprised many on this site and it seemed to be a common favorite.. I mean
1. Baylor is the more talented/athletic team...
2. Baylor needs this win for tourney.
3. Colorado just lost one of its leading scorers to suspension.
4. Colorado's season is basically over (see Westside pete's thread for more)....

But now the line is moving towards us??? It is now @ -3 most sites..This makes absolutely no sense.. I'm usually not suspicious and dont get too concerned about all this trap game mumbo gumbo, but there is no way I ever thought the line would move this way...Whats the deal?

I don't know...it is odd...but I've added Baylor +4 in a teaser and ended up putting most of my play on the moneyline...I still feel strong about the play...Baylor hasn't laid an egg all year vs inferior teams...we'll see...I will definitely be interested in how the first half ends...

that is interesting wondering about that but doesnt make sense. I did notice somebody posted something last night about teams that play at Colorodo have trouble at times adjusting to the high altitude air so maybe that is factor but doesnt make sense why everybody still on Baylor and the line is shrinking.

I saw a Webber (JJ) video yesterday that shows a site where all the line moves and who people are on, all the books, etc...I know its a paid service but it seems like it would definately be worth it come tourey time...

Im on Baylor -3, and the line movement is scary but it doesn't change my prediction of the game.

You can Use http://www.sbrodds.com/ and read in between the numbers. Not worth for paying for a service 1 minute faster.

COL 5-8 at home..last home game vs T Tech lost by 18

This may be a close game but I don't see COL winning...

yeah I see Baylor winning big, I think one prediction had Baylor 74-69 but I see Baylor putting that up, but dont see Colorodo putting up high 60's if anything low 60's for them

Colorado beat Oklahoma because they shot 60%...Okla shot 40%...that's the only way Baylor can lose here... to shoot way better....only 2 teams have shot over 50% vs Baylor all year Kansas at 50.8 and Oklahoma St at 52.8...only 3 games has Baylor shot offensively under 41% and that's vs Texas A&M 36.1, Oklahomas 37.7 and Texas 39.7...

I took a friends bet on a 12 teamer for 20 bucks last week.. I tried to talk him out of it but there was no way. He knows nothing about gambling and saw the potential returns... I didnt put in the bet thinking that it was a free 20 and if there was no possible way he could win.. (I would have paid him immediately but thats not the point) He hit 10 straight...lost the last 2... Way to stressful... Never taking bets for anybody again...

If the public is heavy on one side and the lines moves against the public it usually means that the sharps are pounding the other side assuming that there is no new news or injury status has not changed.

Remember that sharps are not always sharp, and I have seen many of these reverse line moves end in the "squares'" favor.
