What will the line be and what are your overall initial thoughts?

I hear +6.5 Tenn.
I will take those points and then put a ML also.

memphis will be favored and ill be all over tennessee. They are a better team and would love the chance to be the only blemish on an otherwise perfect record

I've been preaching Vols ML since the discussion began earlier in the week. I hope the line is over-inflated. I think it should be -5, but agree that it could be as high as 6.5.

I was way off on my early projection, when I said Memphis -3 and 145. The early line is:

Obviously, I lean Tennessee and UNDER.

I have argued my point too many times on here. I will be hitting up the over. 2 fast paced teams that will be going hard all game. I still see memphis with a 10 pt win.

Let them beat a quality team on the road first before you crown them champions, something they haven't done all year and won't do in the regular season because of a cream puff road schedule. So even a win here won't end the debate.

Wow LT, I thought you would have a little bit more respect. Yes, they played their tough games either at home or at a neutral court. But you still can't question their wins. Its the same as UCLA for the past few years. If they get the 1 seed they get put in the west where everyone of their games is a home game. Same thing will happen with Memphis if they get put in the south. I just need to stop arguing for Memphis bc. it has gotten me no where with people.

I never said Memphis is not a good team. I just don't think they are the best team in the country. I understand them having to be ranked #1 since they are undefeated, but they would be underdogs vs. Kansas, UNC (with Lawson) and maybe even Tennessee on a neutral court.

As fast a pace as these guys will play, I see both teams getting into the 80's and I see this game being close. Dont think for a second that Volunteer fans won't be everywhere in Memphis

I agree with you LT. I think we can match up well against UNC but I have said all year I think Kansas is a freak team. For me I will be all over the over in that game.

The over may be the best bet. But, I will include TENN and TENN(ML).
It should be a great game!!
