well I grew up rooting for Rick Pitino when he was at Kentucky and I guess I bandwagoned Pitino to Louisville, but I love Louisville now in every sport. From winning BCS Bowls to going to the College World Series. I actually live close to the Kentucky-Tennessee border. I post here at times

yeah I love how pollsters love to leave us out, but Vegas always seems to ALMOST overvalue us. Also Mike Marra committed today to Louisville. He's widely considered the best pure shooter in the 09 class

Tyreke is Memphis bound, Pitino basically quit recruiting him a little after the drive by shooting deal. I dont see us getting Hopson either to be honest. He does mention us when people ask who he is looking at though. He failed to mention Big Blew though

Oh Pitino watched some big Serbian guy who is about 7'0 for the 08 class as well. Who knows where that will go though.

My big play tonite is ND for 2 units though..I just like their homecourt play., (was going to put 4 units until Lvillekid went Pitt..Hes usually pretty sharp on Big East games) GL..

well with Swopshire, he's 6'7 and only 190 pounds. He is supposed to be a great shooter who can also shoot off the dribble well. The downside to the kid is that he doesn't quite have that toughness and he is not a very good finisher around the rim, probably due to him being so light. He reminds me a lot of Francisco Garcia when he arrived at Louisville. I think Swopshire will be a good 4 year player, because he is going to have to put on weight if he wants to be a consistent player at the 3 spot. He's not quick enough to play the 2, so thats his only option really. The kid has a lot of potential plus he is already a good shooter. I'm excited to see him in a Cardinal uniform, like the rest of the guys we have signed. I just hope and pray that 5 star forward Terrence Jennings makes the grades because he is an athletic freak at 6'10, 225 pounds!

Its going to be a sick front court again, even if DC leaves (which he would be crazy to do). George Goode should be eligible and our two 5 star recruits. They should make an immediate impact. This team is going to be a final four contender for several years to come. Im guessing samuels is probaly a one and done, but still.

CRP has said he expects DC to leave after the season. College life just isnt for him because he JUST wants to play basketball. Even said DC might go to the D-League and work his way up from there. Obviously Pitino always seems to say the opposite of what he means, but I believe that he is going to push DC out the door after this year unless something crazy happens. Samuels may or may not be a 1 and done. He's really too short to be a center in the NBA and I think he is a little too slow to be a 4 right now. He might need 2 or more years to really turn himself into a power forward.
