LT, can you please share some of your thoughts behind the NCST selection? They are my alma mater and have had a miserable season due to the lack of any type of PG prescence, lack of intensity and an overcrowded frontcourt.

UNC is 17-6 ATS; NCST is 6-16 ATS

UNC is 5-2 ATS in their last 7; NCST is 1-6 in their last 7 ATS

UNC won 92-63 on January 12, was up by 30 pts at halftime and has dominated H2H matchups over the past decade.

I see the revenge angle Sidney Lowe could use to motivate his troops but there is no denying the talent disparity bt these 2 teams, with or without Ty Lawson.

This is a no play for me but if I had a gun to my head and had to pick one winner it would never be NC ST. What are your thoughts.

As I said in the parlay thread, UNC has struggled on the road without Lawson, and since NC State isn't going anywhere, this game is their season. UNC's ATS record is padded by three games where they covered in overtime giving 7.5 points or more. I guess that means if this game goes to OT, they'll win by 9!

also im w/ you on the nc st pick...buuut although unc is w/o lawson...they have an added reason to dominate tonight since duke lost this weekend...acc #1 is right around the corner for them...
