1st half college plays

Indiana -10(h)
Indiana has played terrible the last 2 games while Northwestern is just horrible. Northwestern won its last game against a powerhouse, Texas Pan American at home. In that game, Northwestern went 10 minutes without a basket. Texas Pan American led that game 34-26 at the 14:46 mark. NOrthwestern is not competitive against BIg 10 competition. A week ago sunday, northwestern played at Illinois and was routed 70-37. Indiana is a better team than Illinois and should roll easy in this game at the half and the game.

Fairfield +6(h)
Fairfield is probably one of the better underdog teams for the halftime bettors. Getting 6 points is a gift. Fairfield is capable of taking a lead in the first half and than losing the game in the 2nd half. I think Fairfield will come out to play after losing badly to Canasius 88-60 on friday. After Fairfield gets the cover in the first half, I will go with Niagara in the 2nd half laying the points.

St Peters(h) +1/2
St Peters will not cover at the half but will win the game outright. St Peters has lost 7 in a row and Manhattan has lost 6 in a row. In its last game, st Peters lost to Iona 70-62. St Peters lost to Manhattan earilier this season 65-62 at Mahattan. This is revenge game for st peters and at playing at home will help.

Indiana -18.5 I agree with tab, Northwestern is horrible! Indiana is looking to prove they are legit after 2 straight losses. This one's a blowout.

Minnesota +1.5 Tubby has done a good job. They do not have elite talent, yet they are not a bad team. The gophers are a comepletely different team at home. Nobody in the conference wants to play them in their house. Wisc is a bit overrated.

Wake +4.5 Wake is "straight up" a better team. It shows here.

i think im going to be with you on the wake pick...but depending on gordon's health i might take NW +19. and with MN they arent a bad team at all. they played both IU and MSU tough at home, but i think wisconsin will come out on top tomorrow.
