i don't like yahoo because it refreshes the whole page, i guess because i had AOL for so long i'm still used to their scoreboard, but i like CBSsports more and more, you can sign up and pick what games you want to monitor, they also will send you updated scores and injuries and/or breaking news to your e-mail or phone.

ESPN always slows my computer down when I'm trying to multi task. I don't know if its my computer or I just do too much.

I could only find NFL Realtime. How do you sign up for realtime? Sorry that I am asking such a stupid question.

You have to subscribe to either ESPN Insider or ESPN Magazine. Either way you get one free, and Real Time scores is included.

I use cbssportsline myself. On the go I use a voice atuomated service. (1-800-555-8355) When the voice prompt kicks on say sports, then your individual sport, then say your team. It's the fastest toll free score updater I have come across.

I mostly use CSSportsline. But when it starts to lag, and it does, I start jumping around from the others to find the most up to date one at that time.

I went to ESPN to subscribe, no way to figure out how to do that, typed in insider in their search, no results, went to help, no luck. Have no idea how to subscribe.

                                    ESPN Insider

I think its like 39.95 a year. You get the insider part of ESPN, and their magazine twice a month. I think they have a trail, so you can test it out. Maybe do that first to see if you like it.

boys.. for top 25 CBS is the way to go.. if your looking for other scores NY times is great.. only down side is that it doesn't update automatically.... u have to do it.. but it keeps the scores of the small schools up to date

Sportsline isn't any good for games that aren't top 25. If it's a small mid-major game, Sportsline is terrible.

http://www.sportsnetwork.com seems to keep up-to-date on top25 and smaller very well. I like their interface (keeping games currently in-play at the top) so even though the full page refreshes the games in-play stay on top.

I also use adblock to block their ads which are animated/flash crap/annoying.
