Sacramento St +8.5
Montana St should not be favored by this many on the road. I think the spread is inflated here. Montana St is 2-5 on the road and the biggest margin of victory on the road has been a 7 point victory at Wyoming. I like Sacramento St to upset Montana St as they did last season at Sacramento (90-82). Sacramento St is on a 5 game losing streak and Montana St is coming off 2 straight covers.

Stanford -9
Stanford is playing at Oregon St. I saw Oregon St play at Arizona St and they looked really bad. Stanford defeated Oregon St last season 70-55. This year's Stanford team is much better and Oregon st is much worst. Stanford should dominate the inside game with the twins. ASU beat Oregon St by a score of 72-53. Stanford wins by at least 20.

UCSB outscores opponents by 7.3; UC Irvine gets outscored by 0.3. UCSB is coming off a disappointing conference loss at home to CS Northridge. I see them contending for the Big West conference title. I think they will win this one.

CS Fullerton -13 (v. Cal Poly SLO)
Fullerton has no embarrassing losses. Cal Poly has not won a true road game (they did beat a terrible Northern Illinois team on a neutral court). Fullerton beat UC Riverside on the road on Monday by 30. I think today they will beat Cal Poly by at least 20.

Nevada -6 (at San Jose State)
Nevada has owned San Jose State for years. I know, I know, the Spartans are much improved. But not that much. On 12/22, Nevada got back an experienced guard (Lyndale Burleson, academic issues) and they just recently got back a decent front court off-the-bench guy (Richie Phillips, leg). This gives them some depth, front and back. This is Nevada's WAC opener. It's a lot of points to lay on the road, but I think they'll be up by 6 at the half and cover this pretty easily. (However ... Nevada has a young team, and has been shaky at times ... follow this one at your own risk.)
