St Josephs (5-4) of the Atlantic 10 conference is playing at Sienna (6-3) of the Metro Conference. The oddsmakers are making St Josephs a favorite since they are in a tougher conference with Rhode Island, Dayton, and Umass. I usually stay away from teams that do not play on an anual basis. I am just picking Sienna to lose and end their 4 game winning streak overall which includes 3 in a row at home. Its just time for Sienna to lose a game and the timing is good with St Joseph's in town. The 4 losses for St Joes were all close games (lost to Gonzaga 70-65, lost to Creighton 90-84, lost to Holy Cross 71-66 and lost to Syracuse 72-69). I am surprised to see St Joes as a favorite in this game as I was hoping to get a few points for St Joes. Sienna did beat Holy Cross in its last game and Holy Cross did beat St Joes. Maybe our oddsmakers know that St Joes is going to win this game and that is why they are one point favorite. Or maybe its trap game. Does anyone have any insight on this game.
