I am on Manhattan as well. I like it as a revenge game for last season Princeton beat Manhattan 57-45 in a very ugly low scoring game. This season Manhattan is a better team and Princeton just sucks. LEts make some money on this pick.

Manhattan -1
This is a revenge game. Last season Manhattan lost 57-45 to Princeton. Watch for Manhattan to return the favor and defeat Princeton. Arizona -8 (half)Look for the WIldcats to come out and play. They really struggled last week in the first half vs Illinois before coming back in the 2nd half and taking the game into OT. They played a game in which they did not play well and won. They shot very poorly in the first half but kept it close eneough for a comeback victory. 8 points in the first half is not a lot of points in front of a home crowd against Fresno St team that lost 74-61 in its last game to UNLV. The final score may indicate the game was close but not really. UNLV led at halftime by a score of 52-25. In the 2nds half, UNLV went to the bench warmers that finally let Fresno St make a comeback to make a decent score. The Wildcats are much better team than UNLV and should manhandle Fresno State in the first half. Not only will Arizona roll at the half but will also cover the game spread (Arizona -15.5). Virginia Tech +4.5
I really see some value in a team that defeated Old Dominion 72-55 last season. I think that the point spread here is inflated. Virginia Tech has play well in some losses. Lost to Penn St 66-61, lost 84-78 to Butler. Gonzaga did beat Virginia Tech 82-64. I think I know why Old Dominion is favored by 4.5 points. OD has played well at home with some blowout victories against lessor competition. OD defeated Toledo 66-35, defeated MD Eastern Shore 74-49, defeated South Carolina St 64-54 and Iona 74-63. I really see the 4.5 points as value. I think Virginia Tech wins this game outright. Without looking at the spread, I would have OD favored by 2 points in this game. North Carolina -21
I really like North Carolina to cover this spread easily as they continue to play some really good basektball. Last year UNC gave Rutgers a spanking 87-48. Bad news for Rutgers is that UNC is a much deeper team this season even though Brandon Wright was a first round draft pick. Watch for North Carolina to keep its #1 ranking by blowing out Rutgers. This game will be over before half time. Both Kansas and Memphis won easily and now its North Carolina's turn to do the same.

2* Arizona -19
1* Nevada -7.5
1* Manhattan -1
I love the Arizona play. This is an excellent team from one of the best conferences at home against an OK team from a weak conference. Unfortunately (because I sort of like the conference), the WAC looks like it will generally have a down year. Comparing stats, it may look like Fresno State might be able to play with Arizona. But beware: Arizona is ranked third in strength of schedule, and Fresno State is ranked 149th. These teams have been playing in two different leagues. You know in baseball, when they swing a heavy bat, and then they take the donut off the bat and it feels light? That's how Fresno State is going to feel to Arizona after playing (and winning SU and ATS against) Texas A&M and Illinois. The Wildcats have won four straight at the McKale Center, by an average of 20 points, and they are shooting 58 percent from the floor in those games. The Bulldogs, meanwhile, are 1-3 away from Fresno, shooting just 38.3 percent in those contests. Blow out.
I think Nevada's getting traction. They have adjusted their starting lineup, and have started to get production from some others besides Javale McGee and Marcelus Kemp -- mostly Brandon Fields, and, surprisingly, Matt Lagrone. Look for them to make up, bigtime for the loss to Central Florida earlier this season, in the second of this home-and-home series.
I'm following Ballin' with Manhattan. Looks good.
