I personally think the news about Arizona's coach probably clears things up and lifts the weight off people's shoulders. Now they know what's what. Now O'Neill knows it's his show. He'll be just fine, and he'll be anxious to prove it.
Arizona's performance in the second half against Texas A&M on Sunday was awesome. Texas A&M shot 60 percent in the first half and led by 12 at the break; Arizona held them to 34.5 percent shooting in the second half, and outscored them 50-27. That was a great win over a very good team -- much better than Illinois in my estimation.
Also, Illinois may be without senior center/forward Shaun Pruitt, who injured his ankle Sunday. He was apparently limited in practices on Wednesday and Thursday. I haven't heard the last word, but it seems he probably won't play much, if at all. This is a loss. His replacement is a freshman, Mike Tisdale. Behind Tisdale, there is another injury -- Brian Carlwell is out. This means Illinois may be thin and hurting underneath.
Finally, note that this game is going to be played in Chicago, not at Illinois' home court. Lots of Illinois fans, but still not quite home.
I'm looking for a big statement here from Arizona.

ussaully when things are going bad for the team I bet on, I say something bad about the team and sometimes it works and they start doing well, this is an example of that.
