What is the best NCAA mens baketball conference?

Can there even be the kind of discussion that college football has about one conference being the most dominate. It seems there are more schools from lesser ranked coferences representing.

I have no clue how this is even an issue. The Big East is the best conference ever assembled in the history of College basketball. Everyone even on ESPN is all over the pac 10 and i can't believe it. There are always going to be those acc guys saying they are the best, just because there are so many duke and north carolina fans. Look at the coaches and the history in the big east programs after they made it a 16 team conference.

Even in PAC 10 Country...

I don't think Pac 10 is it....possibly 3rd. ACC maybe even BIG VII is ramping up in my book right now.

This Big VII - PAC 10 Series seems pretty one-sided so far, slanted toward the Big VII.

Even though Ore beat KSU, and KSU lost again last night @ND, I was amazed at the Home Court in Manhattan - that place looked like it was coming unhinged during that game.

I saw that Brackens kid from Iowa State last Friday Night, and he is very polished - as is Beasley for KSU.

We're anxoiusly anticipating CJ Giles debut here in Corvallis....anyone see much of him when he was at KU?

In PAC, hard to get thru a weekend without going 0-2 without a quality [5]:

I think the Big 12 is on its way up but it probably is Acc at 1, Pac 10 at 2, and Big east at three, with the Big 12 at 4

I would go ACC and then Big East a distant second. Also, the top teams in the Missouri Valley Conference would more than hold their own vs. the big boys, although that conference as a whole is obviously much further down.
