First off, this game is going to be ugly. You're talking about a team predicted to be the cellar dweller in the Big 10 and a team in DePaul that is likely to land in the bottom quarter of the Big East. That being said, Northwestern getting 11 pts here looks like a pretty good play I believe. NW stayed within 11 pts of #20 Stanford in a 71-60 loss at home. Now yes, NW will be on the road for the first time, but if you can stay with a team like Stanford ... you damn well shouldn't let the road effect you enough to lose by more than 11 to DePaul. The Blue Demons lost their opener to a middle of the pack MVC team in Creighton. The scoring could be sparse in this one and NW +11 sounds good to me.
