thoughts on memphis/north texas?

a trend ive noticed lately from memphis is they get big first half leads and let up a little in the second. They seem to cover their first half spread more than the total side. So Im playing Memphis -10 first half, and not touching the 19.5. I think that might be something to look at

I have trouble going against a Memphis team that loves to pour it on. I'd put N Texas on the same level as the other ConfUSA teams they've been beating up on this season.

actually now that i think about it, im going to do exactly what i think will happen. Memphis -10 first half and then N. Texas +19.5

well having their leading scorer sit for most of the first half with foul trouble did not help for that 1st half

Suddenly a nine point lead for Memphis

for some reason memphis always does this, their opponent keeps it close the first half, then at the end of the first half memphis makes a big run. They'll make a run to start the 2nd half as well, and after that let up a little again. It's the same thing that happend against Houston in the conference finals. Damn what a shame they waited just a little too long to cover that -10 first half

oh well i still feel good about the total. Memphis is -9.5 for the 2nd, and id take North Texas. I think Memphis ends up winning this in the 14-16 point range

im taking north texas but it has nothing to do with them. This is simply what memphis does every game. And if their trend continues they will not outscore n texas by 9 in the 2nd

I know from the looks of it right now they appear to be outmatched, and have probably already "started the bus". However, North Texas is a strong 2nd half team this year.

I dont know why CBS insists on showing me this N. Texas Memphis game when im supposed to be watching Georgio Tech right now. It's not like this is a good game, The GT is way closer right now
