1- Pace: The number of possessions a team uses per game. It measures the speed at which a team plays, with a higher number indicating a faster pace.
2- RtgDiff (Rating Differential): The difference between a team's offensive and defensive ratings. A positive value indicates a higher offensive efficiency relative to defensive efficiency.
3- NRating- Estimate of point differential per 100 possessions (adjusted for strenght of opposition).
4- Massey Ratings - Ranking Composites
Usually the higher ranked team earns a vote as a play, but not always. I also eyeball the change in the composite ranking since the last edition.
Moving up (+) is better than moving down (-).

**NOTE: Percentages subject to change before start time. If number falls below 80%, play becomes VOID. Will update throughout the day.

SLAM DUNK of the Day
(Pace/Rtg/NRtg/Massey Rank/Change)
Southern 140' at Texas St-3.........(75%-85%) Update (75%/89%) Final update (74%/88%)
Southern...........(1) 81.1..... (2) 11.2.....(3) -14.45.....(4) 230/+10
Texas St-3........(1) 70.8....(2) 11.8.....(3) -15.36.....(4) 250/-20
SLAM DUNKER: Southern+3
Final: 83-86 PUSHED
Couldn't pull out the win in it's SLAM DUNK debut......how sad.
I forgot to add, the other two games that got cut, both won S/U but lost ATS.
**NOTE
Another type of game I will track here, not necessarily a contrarian play, but a game when the contest moves the line from a favorite to a dog. Someone told me it's called a reverse line movement.
Dec 9th
VMI opened in the contest as a 1 point favorite. During the day, the line moved and Loyola MD was a 1' point favorite. The percentages on VMI was 66%/71%. VMI should have been the one to give more points to Loyola MD, right? VMI+1' won the game 86-70.
Today, another game did the same thing. CSU Northridge opened in the contest as a 1' point favorite. Later in the day it changed to CSU Northridge+1'. I was late in putting in the play so I couldn't get the percentages on the game. CSU Northridge ended up as a 1 point dog when I entered the contest. They won the game 89-87.
