Still hitting just over 50% but my bigger plays have been hitting leaving me in the green over 5 units. It's all about the profit. Hopefully can go on a little run through next weekend where a lot of these pre-season tournament lines get very exploitable.
Butler -4 (-115) to win 3 Units
Northwestern came into this year with very high expectations for themselves and with good reason. However, lately things have taken a turn for the worse. Their biggest scoring threat, Kevin Coble, is now being reported as out for the year with a foot injury. Coble was a huge part of this team averaging over 15 ppg last year and now without him it is hard to put a finger on who will make up for those 15 points lost. They also lost Jeff Ryan for the year who was a starter and their best defender. As if that is not bad enough Jeremy Nash is now having heart problems and listed as questionable. Even if he goes he won't play his normal minutes and he is the leading candidate to make up for Coble's slack (he scored 20 in the opener). NW has to be a little demoralized coming into this one and it doesn't really get much better when Butler comes to town. Butler does all the little things right and plays tough defense year in and year out and this year is no different. This is a big game for Butler's resume and any game vs a BCS conference team is always a statement game in Butler's quest to be recognized as a legit contender.
