Anyone liking this play for tomorrow? Supposedly Leonard Hamilton is out for this game... I've only seen the Storm play a couple of games this season and they looked absolutely horrible even with Hamilton... Think Marquette will be hungry in the Big East tourney to boost their seed for the big tourney!

Would love to hear your thoughts on this one!

I don't know, I think St. John's could give a big time effort here in what is basically their home court. Obviously, the loss of Hamilton really hurts, but it's not like Marquette has anyone inside that can take advantage. Personally, I don't like Marquette's team at all, especially without McNeal, and I think they could struggle here, even against a mediocre team.

I will say this, if you are playing Marquette, I'd damn sure do it now. I don't see this going anywhere but up.

Very, very good point Razz. This Marquette team is an enigma to me. Looking back at their body of work, you only see a couple bad losses: one to ND State (WOW) and the back-to-back losses at Providence and at home against Syracuse (both by dd). Gtown beat them up pretty badly, but I think Gtown is the cream of the conference. Otherwise, you have a team that has an impressive body of work, but hasn't managed to impress me at all. Granted, I've only watched 2-3 Marquette games (one of them being that Gtown game), but I don't quite know how they've done it, and I can say, without knowing the brackets that there is a very slim chance of Marquette ending up in my Sweet 16. They'd have to have a perfect draw that ensured they played someone from the Pac-10 in the 2nd round (only kidding, PAC-10 fans) .

Yeah like the Pac-10 conference is any worst than any other conference..

Like I said, kidding about the PAC-10. They just seem to be the must unstable of all the major conferences. I don't trust any team in the PAC-10. Not a one.
