    Vcu/g Mason??
Mason up by 4, the 2H line is VCU -4.5. Who's gonna bite on VCU 2H and bet against the George Mason magic?

A lot of money going down on VCU. Looks like I will go with G.Mason

Yeah, I can't take VCU here. Pellot-Rosa supposedly is fighting through a foot injury, and Mason looks to have that magic again.

I can't believe that GMU lost that game by 6 points. VCU ended that game on a 10-2 run to cover.

              Nice call Mr.GanchrowHG

GM choked this game away. 1:55 left, up 5 they get a rebound and try pushing it up the floor. Idiot gets stripped, the VCU player goes in for the layup and gets the foul. Seconds later, the guard gets stripped again for a layup to tie the game. If Mason pulls back that possession up 5, no way they lose the game. Unreal.

Despite that, Mason gets a bullshit call by the refs at 19 seconds down 59-57 when the rebounder got grabbed and the ref called an intentional foul. That made it 63-57 after the two free throws, then the foul and two more.

What pisses me off is Mason had 7 seconds left to push the ball up the floor and at least get a shot off to cover and they throw it away.

March Madness is here in force. These games will drive you nuts.

Wow. Just when you think the officials can't make a worse intentional foul call than the one on Henderson yesterday, they call that on GMU tonight. Absolutely horrendous. The official who came running in from 20 feet away - after the first guy had just called a personal foul - should be suspended for that.

I am not a big believer in fixed games and such....but after watching the GMU/VCU ending, the Duke/NC ending, the SC/Gonzaga ending i am beginning to rethink things...

BBD, I admit I'm capable of making a nice call here and there, but this actually wasn't one of them. I was just asking the question rhetorically, asking who was going to have the guts to bet against Mason in this one, given the 1H score and 2H line. You could sense an exciting ending was in the works. But I didn't bet either side. I figured I'd better point out that I didn't "pick" VCU in the 2H before someone else does.

I noticed that too. A good officiating team would have conferred and determined it wasn't an intentional foul but the typical foul you see in the final minute of every game. The clown should have reversed the call and gone with the other ref who was calling just a foul. Bullshit.
