Michigan State's big ten schedule was loaded this season. They had to play Ohio State and Wisconsin twice and only played the weaker schools once. They get my vote.

Michigan State easy.....they lost by 2@wisconsin, by 2@OSU, by 2@Iowa, and by 2 to Maryland on a neutral court. They played a very difficult schedule as well that featured more games agaisnt the top teams in the coference and less games agaisnt the weaker teams (only 4 games combined against PSU, NW, ad Minn) not to mention Purdue, a god awful horrid road team, did not come to the Breslin Center this year which would have been an easy win.

MSU because of that lopsided schedule in the conference although if they lose to NW in the first rought of the BTT they're in danger. Purdue may be horrid on the road (refer to ugly games against Iowa, Michigan, Indiana, and Indiana St) but still took both Wisky and OSU to the wire so I wouldn't be so sure of an easy win over a team that already beat Sparty by 24 this year.

Personally, I think MSU, Stanford, and X are all locks for the tournament.

I don't know, that Purdue/Wisc game was not all that terribly close just b/c Purdue covered it...they were never really close to winning outright...in fact, they were in better position to lose the DD cover than to actual win SU. Well, Purdue has won 1 Big Ten road game in like 3 or 4years and MSU has lost like 9 times at home the past decade...I am pretty sure MSU would return the favor easily to Purdue just like they did to Iowa this year.

I'm not going to argue too much about Purdue's success (or definitely lack there of) on the road but I just wouldn't hand MSU a W if they were to play it. Obviously MSU would likely win it but it wouldn't be a gimme at this point.
Odd true number spinning fact of the day: Purdue has double the road victories in the Big Ten this year that MSU has overall.

I say Michigan State. They had to deal with some tough teams, like Wisconsin and Ohio State, twice.

If they could only take one of them, Michigan State would be my pick, Xavier would be second.

I also believe if Air Force loses in the early round of the tourny they don't deserve a bid in the big dance.

They have lost three straight. The committee doesn't like teams limping in. If they get ousted in the first round by Wyoming I think they will be on the bubble.

Arkansas didn't deserve a bid ahead of Drexel. The Dragons scheduled tough road games and won them. All of the teams that finished ahead of them in conference had career years. Arakansas finished 7-9 in a weak SEC west. That's really my only major beef.
