#3It will be interesting to see who gets the final 1 seed (assuming OSU, UCLA, and KAN are all locks). Listening to ESPN, they all mentioned UNC as a possibility. With the way they are playing, I think they should be closer to a 3 seed than a 1. Also think Florida should be out of the running with their recent play. Wisconsin makes some sense, but I have a hard time believing a mediocre conference from top to bottom like the Big Ten should get two 1 seeds. WISC certainly didn't play like a 1 today. I think A&M should still be considered for the final 1 seed, and if they win the Big 12 tourney, they better be.Comment -

#9Looks like UMass will make the tournament barring a quick exit from the A-10 Tournament. 23 wins and Travis Ford doing a great job. Why do I think UMass will get Memphis and Calipari in second-round matchup?Comment -

Nothing above a 8, IMO. But they will get the Duke treatment and get a good seed, and region placement.Comment -

#12I also think they will get the typical Duke treatment and probablly get as high as a 4 seed.Comment -

#13After losing in the first round of the ACC tourny I think Duke will be lucky if they get an 8-9 seed. I also think Kentucky played themselves into a 9-10 seed.Comment -

#15Does Arkansas make it? That's a big, big question at this point... I say they're one of the last 2 teams in. Then again, they need to play a great 1st half tomorrow as the tourney selection committee will be watching closely. I don't think they have to beat Florida, but they need to prove they can hang. They've been playing really well of late and i think they belong in the tourney.Comment -

#17I'll tell you a team that is being projected as a 6/7 seed that I think should be about an 11 or 12, if they should even make the tournament at all. Virginia Tech.
Sure, they beat UNC twice. But, if you take that off their resume, they aren't even a bubble team. Look what this team has done. They have lost 11 games, 10 to unranked teams. They have lost to North Carolina State three times, with only one of those games even being close. They have lost to Marshall, George Washington, and Western Michigan. Three of their wins came in overtime. In their last home game, they lost at home to a Clemson team that was 3-9 in their last 12 entering the game.Comment -

#20I know the selection committee will look at it fairly but I'm curious why all the pundits have a team like Indiana as a lock and Purdue as a team right on the edge of making it? Obviously Purdue is a bubble team but given that I don't see how the rest of the middle of the Big Ten wouldn't be as well (Including the Hoosiers).
It well be interesting to see what the committee does and hear their rationale for why they did it. Seems like every year folks say it but this huge group of bubble teams has got to be tough to sort out for the committee.Comment -

#22I am a little surprised personally about the talk about Purdue being a bubble team...i think they are definitely in. What I am a bit suurprised about it is the lack of talk about Illinois. That team is not good at all by any stretch. If any of those two don't belong in, it is Illinois.Comment -
