Thanks Ott - doesn't feel like kindness to unleash these losers so far, but I do think things will improve with another week of data. All of the transfers have made things a little trickier than even last season. Rule changes also seem to be affecting at least the lines, if not the results. Hoping to see things normalize a bit soon. GL!

Do you have any sense of how certain teams pace adjust with opponents? What I am postulating is that some teams may just play to their opponents pace with confidence and others will instead try to dictate their own pace regardless. I don’t have a sense if there is specific teams that do, but maybe interesting to think about in context of totals. Colorado will be an interesting case today. Do they play up with FSU or trying to slow it down. Talent wise, I would think they could do either.

It's a great question, and the answer isn't very easy. I'll try to collect some thoughts on it and come back. The reality is that it's easier to slow a game down than it is to speed it up since most of the time the offense gets to decide when to shoot. But that's still only part of it.
