Auburn, now #1 in AP poll.
Okay, they play at Mo. tonight with a favorite spread of "only" 13 pnts. The 1st halftime line is 6 1/2..only?
Who sets this line at such an enticing number? The early bird wagers? The sharpest Book handicappers? Or, they, The Books, seeing something about this game where they firmly believe Mo. will give them Auburn fits tonight? History, injuries, C-19?
My gambling so far since June of '21 and on to '22, has been, maybe the worst of my career? And the thing that had the greatest influencial impact at making this last 9 months a real bitch, is losing games where, after the final score came in--only looking at football/basketball, well, throw Trump loss in there, too.
This: When the final resluts have finally sinked in, I have made this statement 4 or 5 times this past 9 months:
"There is no way this can happen, matematically?" No way!
1. The Trump loss
2. Oklahoma football, where I needed to stay within 12.5 pnts against Baylor. Lose by 13 on an outreagous and controversial, late fg.
3. Oklahoma St. could not score to beat Baylor trailing by 4, with 4 downs from the goal line.
4. Rams win by 3 after I am winning and leading by plenty to feel save and they only need to win by 6 pnts. Then:
Brady rallied the Bucs from a 27-3 second-half deficit with help from three of the Rams' four turnovers, tying the game on Leonard Fournette's 9-yard run on fourth-and-inches with 42 seconds remaining.
* OT would have givien me one more chance, right, if I win by 6?
5. Several razor edge losses too much like so many of you have had this past year. Too many to remember or even want to remember.
Auburn tonight?
Someone give me their opinion?
