Why do you think so of all the games today?
I lived my entire live within walking distance of the Pyramid and I don’t see this happening.

Many thanks for asking this. I'll elucidate my reasoning for this pick in no particular order of weight or priority as follows:
1) This is a letdown spot for UCLA after beating a fellow highly rated (#5) Villanova team.
2) Long Beach State is easily capable of putting up 30 1H points and if UCLA chooses to play at a faster pace, that number could go up to somewhere between 35-40 points. What this means is that UCLA has to put up a minimum of 46 1H points to be able to even barely cover the 1H spread - something they hardly do against inferior opposition (don't get too carried away by the 1H score of their game against a poor CS Bakersfield). Given point #1 above, look for a lackadaisical 1H show after which they most probably turn it on (or wake up) in the 2H. I've seen this scenario playout so many times in the past. So posit Long Beach easily covering the 1H spread and UCLA easily covering the 2H spread. But I'm ok with "early" money.
