Where did you get that odd? I don't see it in any of the books that I use.

Also, the betting percentage was around 20% for Nova at ScoresandOdds just 1/2 hour ago and it's now @ 61% Nova, so the late money is on Nova. Is that a good or bad thing if you are taking Nova? I was about to pull the trigger until I saw the late move, so I'm off on this game. Personally, I think the late moves are the wrong moves. If you have to wait until the last second to make the wagers, then you are thinking too much in my opinion.

no no no. its not a good or bad thing. knowing how to read it is the true end all be all. when i saw the houston line be steamed up from -2 to -3 that in itself told me where i needed to be. picking last second has nothing to do with thinking or being unsure of what to pick. its sometimes the better decision to do so. the early money was more than likely a bunch of public joe tickets coming in. all that super late money you saw was smart/sharp money. those guys know what they are doing more times than not.

regardless of the outcome of this game Villanova +3 is the right side to be on. does that mean they get on the court and automatically win and cover? no. but all we can do as handicappers is make the best bet and have good numbers. thats it. then you just let it play out

Thanks again for the pick. After seeing the half time score, I pretty much wrote off the bet but I was praying that Bill Self would do some major adjustments or do something with the players to fire them up and whatever he did must have worked perfectly. I can't even imagine how a team in Elite 8 games can outscore another team by 47-15 (whopping 32 more points in just one half). That has to be some type of record for outscoring in one half in the NCAA tourney.

I didn't watch the game until the last few minutes at the Borgata sportsbook and I was shocked to see the score mid-way through the 2nd half when Kansas was leading 54-42. I thought it was a mistake by ESPN with the game score. I couldn't score watch as I was playing Blackjack and cell phones are not allowed at the tables, so I was taking a peek at the shuffle breaks when I step away from the tables.

Luckily, I recovered $3K playing blackjack out of $6K I was down at the lowest point and the Kansas bet made up the rest leading me to $1,500 win for the weekend.

"Timing is Everything" and I almost missed the Kansas bet which then I would have resorted to taking Saint Peter's. Thank God I didn't end up doing that because I was so busy playing Blackjack.
