Alabama may be 15-4 overall including a perfect 10-0 at home, but they have played a creampuff schedule and we feel they will get exposed today.
After all, the Tide have had only five lines home games all year, and they are just 2-3 ATS in those games. The other five victories were non-lined affairs vs. Jackson State, Texas Southern, Alabama State, Coppin State and Lipscomb! They have lost three straight games ATS, all inside the conference, including a narrow 78-76 victory over Georgia the last time they played in this building.
Granted Alabama has revenge as a motive after the Razorbacks blew them out 88-61 in the conference opener for both of these teams this year. However revenge works best when the lesser team upsets the better team in the first meeting, and we are not convinced that these teams are separated all that much talent-wise.
