Tigers +16 at Jayhawks

The Border War takes to the hardwood tonight, and the Missouri Tigers as heavy road underdogs are the right play versus the Kansas Jayhawks.
Wow, that's a boatload of lumber to be laying in a rivalry game like this! Granted, Missouri just got the tar beat out of them at Texas then lost at home to the Wildcats, and their play is tough to gauge on a game-by-game basis.
But these schools aren't the biggest fans of one another and new head coach Mike Anderson will want to make it a point to have his team show up in style in his inaugural debut in the hoops version of the "Border War." Kansas is coming off a tough game at Iowa State their last time out, and will no doubt be ready to make amends in front of a national audience.
That being said, no better time than now to erase the nightmare of a start the Tigers have had in Big 12 play with a solid effort in the Fieldhouse. Another source of motivation might be the 33-point beatdown they suffered in this venue only a short season ago. Mizzou's as ugly a pup as you'll find on the docket today, but this is a rivalry game and they'll want to put their best foot forward.
