Even if Georgia is looking ahead to the SEC Championship game versus LSU the following week, I can't help but believe this large number of 28 will still be covered. Does Georgia Tech even get to 7? I doubt it because their offense has been woeful against teams with decent defenses (Virginia Tech 0 points, Temple 2 points, Pittsburgh 10 points) and now they play perhaps the best defense in the country.
I realize Georgia' offense hasn't been firing on all cylinders too but the competition level they have faced on defense versus who they face Saturday is vastly different plus I think this won't be a look ahead game to LSU but a statement game to the committee in case they lose to LSU in the SEC Championship game the following week.
I see Georgia in the 40's and Georgia Tech possibly being blanked or at the max scoring single digits with a meaningless score in the fourth quarter. I hate giving this many points but I am going to in this case. Any thoughts from anyone else who is considering this game. Thanks.
