Ducks look to continue unbeaten season

McArthur Court in Eugene, OR, is the site for tonight's only college hoops action involving a ranked team as the #22 Oregon Ducks host the Eastern Washington Eagles. With a profitable record at home, and with balanced scoring throughout their lineup, the Ducks are definitely the play in this one.
The Ducks are an impressive 34-10 against the spread over the the past nine seasons when they were coming off two or more consecutive home wins.
Oregon (8-0) comes into the game ranked 22nd in the country according to the AP and #24 in the ESPN/USA Today poll. They topped then-#23 Georgetown, 57-50, on the road to close out the month of November and have since beaten Nebraska (68-56) and Bethune-Cookman (92-64) at home. The Ducks feature five players averaging in double figures led by their little freshman Tajaun Porter (5-6) with 19.3 points per game.
Maarty Leunen (Jr, 6-9) leads Oregon with 10.0 rebounds while scoring 11.4 per night and Aaron Brooks (Sr, 6-0) is the assist leader at 5.3 with 15 points per game. Bryce Taylor (Jr, 6-5) and Chamberlain Oguchi (Jr, 6-5) are adding 16.5 and 11.3 points per game respectively.
Eastern Washington (5-5) is 1-4 away from the comfort of their Cheney, WA, campus. The Eagles are coming off a 91-68 loss at Santa Clara on Monday in which Rodney Stuckey (Jr, 6-5) was held to just 12 points on 5-of-13 shooting. It was the first time in 37 games that Stuckey, one of the nation's top scorers at over 25 per game, did not lead Eastern Washington in scoring.
Stuckey also leads the Eagles with 4.8 assists per game while Paul Butorac (Fr, 6-10) is the squads leading rebounder with an 8.8 average.
We'll simply make a play on the Ducks for a unit tonight.
