The closest thing I have to a Cinderella is Rhode Island getting past Oregon to make it to the Sweet 16. I think Oregon will win that game, but it is almost a toss-up. But not quite, Oregon wins

Vandy would be another team that could make it to the Sweet 16, but they have the hard luck of having to face Gonzaga in the round of 32. Otherwise they would potentially be in the Sweet 16.

By the time you get to the Big 8, the Cinderella stories are gone and it's time to play basketball with the future NBA players.
