#4Damn that is horrible. I had +8.5 and was furious at the foul with 5 seconds on their best ft shooter. Then when he missed the second I was like Yessssss. When the 3 went down I was thinking wow where was a 3 like that when I need it, but for you to lose on that. Damn man that is horrible. Worst way to lose.Comment -

#6Toler, that's not the point. We're talking about the L5 seconds of the game. Houston controlled the whole 2h.Originally posted by jtolerThey were lucky to win by whatever, down 10 at the half.Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?Comment -

#7Thx for the notes, boys. I have very thick skin. This stuff normally doesn't bother me.
Just that this one got to me. How ridiculous is it to foul there, down 7?
I root for everyone. Would have loved for everyone to cash there. -6.5 early, +7.5 and +8 late.Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?Comment -

#8Yup 7 on this game for most of us was the perfect number. We all cash that. I've only had shots like that at the end kill a cover never had it help me win. Even in this case it didn't help me the missed ft did.
But like you said. Down 7 with 5 seconds there is no point to foul.Comment -

We win and we lose the same in these situations; we only remember the losses though.Comment -

#13Very true, Jay. If u talk to a coach/athlete/gambler...they'll tell u that the tough losses sting 2x as much (compared to the sweetness of a nice win).Originally posted by jayc88Thats what every gambler is saying.

#14mj, I was watching the Play-by-Play. I figured that Conn's score to make it 74-67 would end the game. I mean, HOU was inbounding the ball, up 7, w/ 0:05 on the clock. Where is the magic 7-pt play? Normally losing coach tells his players "No fouls."Originally posted by mjsuax13I lost. Awful. Didn't even know it until my friend texted me. Bad beat. Houston can f*ck off. Gotta move on.
I can tell u this. If that's an NBA game, game lands on 7. Players don't foul there. And refs eat the whistle on meaningless buzzer foul.Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?Comment -

#15I haven't won 1 like this yet. Hoefully I will. Not saying I haven't had crazy situations where I won.Originally posted by jayc88Thats what every gambler is saying.

I had Houston in a ML parlay, but Nova made sure that didnt hit.Originally posted by ChuckyTheGoatToler, that's not the point. We're talking about the L5 seconds of the game.
