say you pick a +10 road dog for the full game, and the 1H ends and they are tied 34-34 all..
and the 2H line is -6 for the home team, 9/10 im going to lay the -6 cause that way i am now hedged out of my full game pick, with the opportunity to hit both picks. small vig loss.
its very basic. nothing complicated about it. knowing when to do it is key also. cause sometimes its best to just let it ride. like today with the iowa state. just have to have good judgement.Comment -

then the 2H line comes out and is -2 for the home team.. most of the time im going to lay the -2 and try to get 2u out of 1 single game.. if it loses its a push with a small -110 vig loss.
but there are times where if i hit the 1H ill walk away from the game and take the win and get out of there lol sometimes theres no point to get back in the game when you already cashed the ticket. i guess it depends if im on fire or not. if im not on a hot streak i wont do it.. take the W and get out while the door is open lolComment -
