I capped this game at 6. So I agree, 12 or 13 is a gift.

NC State seems to be improving every week. Dennis Smith Jr will be the best player on the court. UNC seems unpredictable right now and of this were at NC St then I might even have the Wolfpack as a fav.

It's also going to be interesting if the crowd is sparse because of the winter storm and if that will effect anything.

For inclement weather games in the past, the court side season ticket holders (generally older, quieter alums) have released their seats, which were then given to basically anyone who could show up. This has led to better atmospheres because it has meant more students closer to the court. This was set to happen last year when Duke pulled out of the game, claiming they couldn't travel the 8 miles to play.

The difference today, however, is that dorms don't open until tomorrow, so student attendance may be sparse.

Everyone has it capped at 6-8. That line is BEGGING for NC State money. So it will indeed be interesting to see what the oddsmakers know that everyone else doesn't.

Yeah. Kenpom has 14, Massey 12, and Dunkel 21. But I get those that are taking the 13.

I'm glad about this. Dorms reopen tomorrow so maybe kids will make an effort to come back in the morning. Crowd would have sucked tonight.
