I'm on this as well. WMU is horrible defensively. They allow opposing teams to shoot 49% from the floor and have 7 double digit losses already this year. Akron can put some points on the board. They've averaged 88 pts over their last 4 games. WMU is coming off a 40 point loss to Ohio. I wouldn't be surprised to see Akron by 20Comment -

I like this Akron team they score and have showed they can be a tournament team with that being said they didn't play great last time out against BG and I see a bounce back game here against what looks like on paper a very poor defensive w mich team..We will see...
What I don't like is that a higher ℅ is on Akron and game went down to 11 instead of where it opened @ 12.5
.. in most cases my play would be on w mich but in this case I've locked in Akron and gonna ride with them. It's only a small wager

I think there is a large enough sample size to legitimately label WMU as a bad defensive team. Defense is not something that can be fixed overnight. It's not like having a bad shooting night and bouncing back the next game.Comment -
I don't have a side here, just the under. A couple of things worth considering ... according to kenpom, Akron has faced the 13th easiest defensive schedule in the county. On the flip side, WMU has faced the 50th toughest offensive schedule.Comment -
