why are washington huskies so mediocre?

4 game losing streak.........

got killed by gonzaga even though UW had 29 offensive rebounds. alot of misses obviously. 1st half shooting was 17% or something similar

that near-consensus #1 overall pick guard is playing really well.. perused the rest of roster and good stats and very high 3 point % as a team.

is their defense really bad?

Fultz is good, he's really good... but the coaching on this team is a detriment.
I honestly would suggest they are probably the worst prepared team in the west. This causes them to constantly not play up to their potential.

Their plan this year.. give the ball to Fultz.. if he's off at all they have no chance to win.

It's kind of like LSU with Simmons last year.
