Middle Tenn. State vs. Belmont

I keep going back to this game in my mind. I
have Middle Tenn. winning handily based on
who they have won against. They have beat
3 top 100 teams in Ole Miss, UNC-Wilmington,
and Vanderbilt by 23! Belmont has lost to
all 3 top 100 teams that they have played
including Vanderbilt by 14. Granted, they
played at Vanderbilt and MTSU had Vandy
at home.

As HG has stated in several threads,
both of these teams have had long
layoffs due to exams, so there is
caution either way with these teams.

MTSU by -1 looks good to me.

Any thoughts??????????

Belmont won 3 of the last 4. MTSU won the most recent battle. It is in Belmont, but that is still in Tennessee. This is one of those anything can happen games TBH. I too am going with MTSU though. Hoping Giddy stays hot...

Yup I feel you. Hoping that MTSU does what they do. Their defense is great. Should lead to some easy baskets. Belmont has been off for 8 days too.

I had Belmont too. They got down early, something like 0-9. I wonder if they spent too much energy getting back and tying the score and then ran out of gas.

13-0 run to start the game and 18-4 run to end the game by Middle Tenn. in between it was a struggle, but a solid cover!
