Wichita got buried twice by UNI and has beaten nobody all year long. I hope the line goes up because I'm going to pound Vandy.

Vandy could be a sleeper... Has beat Kentucky and Texas A&M this year.. Single digit losses to Kansas, Baylor, Dayton...

this is the first season in a while where I have very little confidence in the Wichy.... they do tend to rise to the occasion, just not sure they have the team to do it this year.

Hard to back Vandy, they're just a squad full of losers. Every year there is that one super talented team that always comes up short, that team is Vandy this year. As square as Wichy seems I think they're the right side. Wichita is a winning program and has kids who've been here before, Vandy doesn't. Talent wise Vandy is way ahead of Wichita but we all know talent doesn't win games in the tourney.

Theyve also lost to some bad teams too though. Like losing to the Vols who were without their best player.

Vandy actually has 3 7-footers, they start two at the same time with Kornet as the stretch and Damien Jones down low. Vandy guards have length to match Baker and give VanVleet a little trouble at least.

Earlier this season when Iowa wasn't in self destruct mode, they absolutely dominated Wichita State with Utoff and Woodbury going ham down low. I know wichy was missing Grady for that game, but still. This might be a similar situation... I like the Shockers but this is their weakest squad in 4 years, and they can't hang in the paint.

Then again, if they do somehow win tomorrow, who's to say Ron Baker and Fred VanVleet don't go out with a bang by making the elite 8

I'm taking Vandy and the points....should go up I haven't seen anyone on Vandy. I have watched Vandy play and they got talent on that squad. I know hey we're without Kornet for awhile also but nobody brings that up. He's a big piece to that team and can shoot from the outside....Just not buying Wichita at all this year. Don't care who they have back. They just aren't the same team as in the past

scoring.
Wichita not on their home court which is big for them
the kicker is SoS where Wichita plays in a weak conference
For example, Vandy's Opponent Offense Rank is 35 while
Wichita's is 261. Think about that.
