why college players rarely takes 2 to 1 adv??

Almost every game i watch, some stupid low IQ basketball player got the ball with a minute left and just decides to milk the clock before going into the half?? Dont tbe coach ever teach these idiots to take advantage of the 2 to 1 possession?? Its like they just look at the floor and dribble with no sense of direction or urgency.. i cant stand how stupid 90% of these so called ball handlers are.. push it when u got around 45 seconds so the other team wont get 2 to 1 except you..

It's because they want to make sure the other team has only 1 more possession. With a 30 second shot clock if they race up the floor and don't utilize the shot clock the other team can get two more possessions. That's how i see it..
