tough pill to swallow last night but i'm bouncing back hopefully today with my main pick of the day Harvard-10. They are at home and a much better team then cornell. Also cornell starter robert hatter doubtful tonight who is essentially their best player. He averages 19.9 PPG, 3.4 RBG and 4.1 APG. That means cornell matt morgan and darryl smith will have to pick up the slack. I'm locking in on this in the hope that the news is true. If for some reason he plays then yeah this is going to be a much tougher bet to win but even if he plays knowing he is doubtful he probably won't be at 100% tonight.

Good luck, Jeff. The only concern I have is the line dropping from -11 -115, to -10 -105.

I'm a Chicago native myself, born and raised at 87th and Crandon on the South Side, a block away from CVS, where Butkus went to HS.

I was confident but I just researched the columbia game cornell had where hatter was missing. They won by 11 but Columbia is better than Harvard slightly but also a different team style. Harvard is more a defense oriented team. I would imagine that may make it harder for these other cornell players to make up for not having hatter. I think harvard will still cover but I would either stay away or bet small on this. It is too late for me of course. I should of looked into Columbia more I thought for some reason at first this was going to be his first game out *hits head*.

I was thinking same thing on Columbia game, but maybe Harvard will play them tough on D. Haven't watched Harvard much at all, gl

                          Final Notes:
I kept looking over these stats and digging deeper into this game. I think Columbia covers the spread and here is why. In every player matchup Columbia is bigger on the floor then Yale. Columbia is more diversified then Yale who relies mostly on only two players. Columbia lost by 9 on the road to a team with slightly higher BPI then Yale but was missing Alex Rosenburg that game who gets about 13.8 PPG and 4.0 RPG. Yale beats margin defense by 3.1 points. Yale has great defense ranked 23 in the country where as Columbia is mediocre defense but has better offense then Yale ranked 84th in the country. Columbia due to player matchup this game may help reduce the defense effectiveness of Yale by size alone in matchup per player. Yale gets into foul trouble we have a very good free throw shooting team in Columbia shooting 72.9% and 55th in the country. The last three games Yale has gotten 23 to 24 fouls per game much higher than their season average of 18.8. Yale only beat Princeton by 4 points at home who has about the same BPI as Columbia. I think Columbia could even upset today. I’m going to predict Columbia win 76 to 74 in an upset.

oh and i put the house on this game... degenerate gambler here lol!! I need to make up for some bad beats. Like texas state over yesterday they had 67 first half only needed 56 second half but slowest 2nd half ever! I was furious lol made some last minute bets on USC last night and cut my losses to down only about $100.

Yup!! I hope we win this! I really need some good luck to go my way finally. I just hope Columbia shows up to play.. I'm so tired of seeing teams show up and its like they'd rather the game be over instead of giving the game their all.
