My thoughts on the Tournament:
South Region:
1st Round Plays:
Kansas/Austin Peay u 152 $100
-Kansas is clearly gonna get what they want here but even if they hit 90 this could stay under, and of course they will ease up late in game. I have this one 85-60 ish which is enough value to warrant a $100 investment.
Rado +3.5 $300
-This is just excellent value here, while everybody is on the Uconn Hype. Lets face the american is decent but their run in that conference is nothing like running the old Big East. Tad Boyle's group has played better down the stretch and no reason they don't get this win. (Picking them in my bracket to win, but I'll just roll w/ the # here) Both teams play tough defense, but Rado is a much better rebounding and 3 point shooting team and that will be the difference in Des Moines here.
SDST +5.5/6 1h $100
-This is a pure fade on Maryland traveling out West against a very balanced SDST squad who will not be intimidated. I do not have 1h lines yet, and of course would love my key number 6 so hopefully we get that vs the popular terps but still will take the 5.5, and its just another $100 investment. (Picking Maryland in my bracket to advance)
Picking Cal to advance over Ki Ki, however no investment here. If your looking for action I'd might suggest a 1h u play using the early 11 am tip in Spokane, having 2 very balanced teams.
I think Whichy Beats Vandy, but once again no investment. I lean under but they foul to much for my liking. Vandy Struggles in the half court as well as playing away from Nashville, Whichy will grind them and experience should prevail.
Gonna take a shot on my bracket taking the Shockers to beat Zona. I'll prob be looking for a under wager in some form, and the schockers travel schedule and 2 very good defensive teams lean towards an under start/game. However total will be low, so might not get any value.
I like this Buffalo team and so proud of their run under 1st year coach Nate Oats, I'll be rooting them on but Miami will be too much. Not betting the game, but picking The U to advance.

-This game could easily be played in the High 50's/Low 60's. Two excellent defensive teams who are so unfamiliar with each other, and make their opponents kill the shot clock on majority of possessions. Neither Team turns the ball over, which doesn't give up easy baskets in transition, along w/ not giving up many big runs. Neither squad fouls much at all. Temple is very live here also, and I'll pick them in my bracket to advance. In the grind it out game, dog is of course live and playing in Brooklyn if its close late, everyone will be rooting for the Owls to pull upset. They have an excellent coach and a great core of players.
I really like Ashville team, but Nova obv will be too much. No play here.
-The rest of the bracket really don't matter at this point, but I took a shot w/ Coach Larrenga advancing to the Final Four once again, in similar colors than the George Mason Run.(I don't play much money on brackets $20 here $20 there, so its just for fun. WE BET THE GAMES

West Region:
Picking Joes to beat Cincy, but no play (however if that does happen, I will prob be looking to back them vs oregon

-My Concern here is the 12 days off and the poorid foul shooting. They can't afford to get lit up early. However the have the balance to pull the upset here and they should get a huge chunk from 3, as they have big edge their vs Baylor Permitter D. Picking them to pull the upset on bracket in Providence (also big edge there)
Duke/Wilmy matchup is interesting. Kevin Keatts gonna switch things up w different presses, we shall see how the Blue devils handle it. Passing here and Picking Duke to advance outta pure respect for Coach K. (but watch out Yale gonna upset them in 2nd Round and reach sweet 16 on my bracket)
When we played Texas mid conference play, they were looking great and seemed to falter late. No play here as we already have the future on them, so lets just root them on as they have their hands full w an improving UNI squad who already has some huge wins.
Green Bay +13 $100
Green Bay 1h +7 ish $100
A&M just went all out to win the SEC conference title and they are a team im very high on. But Green Bay won't be intimated here. They are very well coached and balanced to hang in this game, Although I'll take the aggies to advance in my bracket, but wouldn't be shocked.
Oregon St +5 $100
If they can just not get absolutely Destroyed on the glass here I'd pound them. But VCU is gonna kill them on glass, every other aspect I give to the Beavers and Im backing them for $100 w/ the 5 for that reason. Will pick them to advance on bracket. (also we could get them +9/10 against Okie in 2nd round which we would ride also)
Bakersfield is an under-seeded team here at the 15. This is an under game, but Im just gonna pass, here.
I'll take a shot w/ St Joes making a run and Take OKie over texas and Joes over Yale. I think texas could easily beat okie if they can get there, but I'll balance out my future and have okie meeting Miami in Houston.Comment -

No opinion on FGCU/Dickinson, just gonna root for Fairleigh.

Andy Enfield is no stranger to Post season runs, and USC is just a more balanced offensive team. As much as I love the stars on the Friars, I like the small upset here.

I see a lot of people on the mocs to upset indiana, but I think the hoosiers roll here.

I love this Stony Brook team and UK fresh off Tournament championship. I think the play of warney alone can keep this close early.

EVeryone counting them out, easy tool for haith to use to motivate. Mich could go could on neutral, just another pure value play.

The old rhyme of reason press a pressing team, well they gonna do just that. I think this is the worst possible matchup for WVU in the 1st round and be glad to take the TD for $100. Im gonna pick WVU in bracket tho, because if they get by here they should handle the Irish.

Instate Rival, big brother vs lil brother so to speak. Much easier for Lil Bro to get amped up to play in NIT game than is for Ohio St. Just don't see Ohio St getting up for this game, off that blowout vs State. Akron a better Offensive team and should drain a ton of 3's tonight. But with any NIT wager, your simply capping motivation in the first round...
