• The 24 year old Japanese superstar is in top form at present. He has had 5 top 5 finishes in his last 8 starts. He was 5th in the Tour Championship and then in the last two weeks he won the Japan Open on a tough course and last week he was 2nd in the CIMB Classic so his recent form figs are 5-W-2.
• He's not a 'bomber' but he drives 295 yards which is long enough so he should be suited here especially as accurate ball striking has always been his great strength.
• Recently he has improved his putting which has been so important as he sets up so many birdie chances and if he can 'get the pace' of these greens he'll become a serious contender.
• 41st here two years ago here he looks ready now to be a real challenger for Majors and WGCs.
IN SUM--Hideki is a superb young player whose game will be suited here so expect him to be a serious contender this week.
