I've done so much better over the last year and a half just using my guts and instincts as opposed to looking into all of the numbers and states. I'm beginning to think my eyes are one of the best tools I have.

I remember like 5-6 years ago when I was really getting into the numbers and stats side of this, I followed Kenpom for a week and got killed. I told myself never again.

College sports seem a lot easier for me. In college, often times one team is just simply overmatched. I don't know how many times I just took Oregon and the over the last few years (not counting this one) and they were easy winners.

While the NFL and NBA have some bad teams, they still are professionals that get paid to play for a living and can win on any given night.....well, maybe all of the teams except for the 76ers. Pro sports are a different animal. Take baseball for example, we all know why it's stupid to lay a ton of juice in that sport. NFL lines are usually super sharp and NBA, well who the hell knows. Anything can happen. It's more about the spot, situation, and trying to figure out which team is going to care about the game than anything.
