A couple of weeks ago, following a home win, Arizona head coach Sean Miller whined about how his bench was horrible and he would never be able to put them on the floor all at once. And then, fast
forward to the other day, in the second game of a three-game tournament, when they lost to Providence. When you ain’t got agood bench, you ain’t got much of a chance in these situations.
Boise State lost at Arizona 88-76 a couple of weeks ago and certainly sees an opportunity here. Arizona is as lily-livered a team as there is out there when it isn’t playing its precious McKale Center with Pac 12 referees to help red-carpet them home. Miller also talks out of both sides of his mouth, too. A few days
after he threw his bench under the bus, he talked about how the strength of the team was its "depth and versatility." Sure,
that's why they out-rebounded Providence by 21 boards and lost
