I'm thinking about setting up and in-depth NCAA stats website for next year, but I'd like to get some general information from some active NCAA bettors first. I'd really appreciate some input on the following:
1. What site do you most often use to gather NCAA stats and matchup data?
I personally spend a lot of time on covers.com, and also the individual websites of each college's basketball team (for up to date stats and news). I have also recently discovered statfox.com, but it seems like a little bit of overkill with so many stats and angles all thrown at you at once, and they also charge for their foxsheets with specific matchup data.
2. How many online sports books do you know of that post 1st half lines, team totals (for the half and game) and allow you to parlay big ML's with the over/under?
I know thegreek.com offers all of these, wsex doesn't offer team totals for the half or game, and betED (I believe) doesn't allow you to parlay big dogs with the over. How about the other sites?
3. What stats (if any) do you wish you could get access to, or see trends for that you can't find (easily) with any of the existing free sites?
I know I would love to see the team by team win percentages for the ML and over/under for EACH HALF, and also how often the team totals went over/under for the half and game. I can't find those anywhere (in fact I can't even find a site that lists what the team totals were for past games). I'd also be interested to know how often the team failed to cover, but was within 2-5 points of covering (for teasers).
4. Does anyone know of a site or service that offers a live feed for game stats and/or line movements?
I know a lot of sites display this information, but I'm interested in a service that would provide me with the raw data so that I can manipulate and display it myself. I assume it would probably be a paid service, and that would be fine.
Thanks in advance for everyone's time, I look forward to the input!
Keith
