    Snevens' Sunday selections
Hola amigos...its certainly been an exciting week thus far, as my selections have gone 10-1 + 42.5 units since wednesday 3/25.

I look forward to continued success, i must say tho, tonights card seems awfully tricky just at first glance and im really not too sure where, if at all, i plan on pullin the trigger.

I'd love to hear what the rest of you peeps are feelin today but either way

    Play number 1

So as most of you know, its been an interesting week, particularly because the college cards have been so light. I really believe this has opened up a bunch of good opportunities from the linesmakers to make some solid NBA selections. Ik this is a college thread, but if this is where most people are gonna be viewing the thread, i figure it cant be that big a deal. That being said, the first selection for today is

    Minnesota Timberwolves + 4 WIN

5 units to win 4 (buy pt)

Minnesota hasnt been playin theyre best basketball as of late, obviously plagued by some unfortunate injuries. that has been no excuse tho, and the team has managed to play some good ball particularly at home. New Jerseys had their fair share of struggles as of late as well. Theyve really been lacking with interior presence and have been getting outrebounded nearly every game. Minnesota is dealin with huge big men out west and still managing to hold their own while their margin is +2 per game where as NJ's is -5 when playin on the road. With bobby simmons most likely sittin this one out, and devon harris playin with a really sore shoulder, i feel as tho this could be a good spot for a Twolves team comin off a bad road trip, anxious to make things up with a strong home game. I'd consider Minn getting some points here

          Play number 2

          Philadelphia-Detroit Over 183 WIN

5 units to win 3.5 (buy 1.5 pts)

Not entirely sure why i decided to buy those points but im still pretty confident that this is a good spot for an over here. Both teams have had Over totals 4 outta the last 5 games and im not sure i see that trend comin to a hault tonight. Both these teams have similar records and play similar style basketball. The real question is how philly's defense will show up, allowin 100 pts per game on the road this season, and im lookin for Detroit to take advantage of that as they try and make their push towards the playoffs. Early action was all on the under, but i think with little to no line movement and now most of the action going towards the over, this could indeed be a nice spot for this selection.

I really dont know to be honest psycho. i guess i just really like the CBB forum for some reason. the people are a little less cynical and a little more open for some discussion imo. i apologize if it bothers u i just dont think its too big a deal.

and thanks dream, BOL to u as well and thank u for the support.

I feel like im really starting to understand the intagibles that go into deciphering the strong plays from the fency ones that could really go either way. Im a ferm believer that one can always improve at whatever it is they're doin, and when u reach the point where u say u dont wanna get better and u refuse to accept that u have to work on ur game, thats when i believe a peak is reached. Obviously it doesnt get much better than 10-1 but i wanna be known as a long term specialist who hones consistency as a top skill and ik i have tons to learn and am anxious to see how my skills develop and see how far they may take me. The mind has to be sponge-like tho and im never gonna stop listening to advice and tryin to improve. all comments and insight is appreciated as i believe when done in a positive and orderly manor, theres no way it cant help.

thanks guys i really appreciate all the help and support. but yeah psycho u know im always down to talk out any type of play anyone may be interested in. Ive stated it in a couple past threads idk if u saw, but i was mentioning the logic behind makin a little more NBA selections over CBB plays this time of year. Around tourney time, the amount of college games one can bet on really begins to decline obviously as it is a single elimination process. With that imo, comes sharper lines, because all the normal college basketball action spread out over a bunch of games, is now being funneled into just a mere 2-3 a night for the past week or two or so. I feel as tho due to this, vegas knows they're gonna get a ton of action on college games over the NBA, and therefore put a lot more effort and time into makin the lines for the tourney as opposed to the NBA. In my opinion this really opens up the door for some prime NBA lines cause theyre generally gonna be softer with all the concetrated effort goin towards the tourney.

That bein said tho, we got a couple interesting days ahead of us with the NIT and what not, so like most other nights i will definitely be treading lightly but id still love to hear and see what people are feelin. lemme know.

BOL to all of you tho and keep an eye out for any Monday Plays. Still gotta see whats in store for tonight

ha thanks monkey. BOL to u as well. cant even begin to tell u how excited i am for the playoffs tho. seems like sometimes people tend to hate on the structure cause its two series before the conference championchips but i feel like this makes for some real intense action and with half the league makin it in, it should certainly make for some interesting lines down the board.
