I really think Louisville should pound Mich St. Anyone else thinking this?

I give Mich St about a 5% chance seeing as if Izzo has been there before. However, Louisville will be just too good for them. I see a double digit victory. Really thinking about throwing some big cash on them just as i did last night in a Louisville UNC parlay that paid $900.

Louisville wins. That will give the Big East 3 teams in the "Final Four". The last time THAT happened was 1985, the year that 'Nova shocked Georgetown.

The only real question is: Who will the fourth team be?

Louisville has impressed me the most in this tourney. They should definitely win tomorrow. I am gonna be hitting the ML hard.

7 point spreads are always dangerous in NCAAB...Its the one number I hate the most cause the down team fouling to get back in a close game always pushes to get within 4-5 before calling it quits....Always a chance for a back door crap job....With that said....I'm going big on UL -7.........Fingers crossed

here is my short writeup that i sent someone a PM to a few minutes ago....

today i am waiting for the line to go to 7 and get in on michigan state. their goal all year has been to get to the final 4 in detroit. also, yes louisville is one hell of a team but let's face the facts the best team they have faced is 9 seed siena. blowing out a 12 seed is a given for the overall #1 seed and people are looking too much into that. michigan state has the junkyard dog survive and move on mojo working for them and have the ballhandlers to score, not just break the full court press. michigan state will score some easy buckets against the press and alter louisville's game strategy. louisville will have an advantage when they drop into zone coverage in half court defense because of michigan state's lack of consistent outside shooting. all of this adds up to a much closer game than 7 points in my opinion.

oh man, the pros are getting in now. the line was at 7 in most books and now most have gone back to 6.5

                            MSU -7 (large)

                            MSU +270 (very small)

yeah that is relevant. look at this point there are no bad teams left and if conference affiliation is your criteria for picking winners i do not know what to tell you. how about michigan state has faced tougher opponents (sos #6 vs #12 for louisville) this year and slapped kansas in the face twice. big east conference rank rpi is #4 and the big ten is #2 by the way.

sure people will point to the spartans getting blown out by north carolina but hey they are a #1 seed. look what notre dame (not in the tourney) did when they broke the press against the cardinals.

I took Mich State +7.5 and the Over 139 on this game. I fully expect both to pay.

now it is nothing but crickets baby! tell me about your big east, tell me about how louisville cannot lose. sorry i do not usually talk this much trash after one win but i found maybe 3 people on SBR that were on michigan state. i beg one louisville backer to actually lay down their actual cap on this game, show me the math, show me the numbers show me whatever besides throwing at a dartboard why louisville even covers......

I love it MSU has no chance... I would have liked to see their reasoning! I thought Lville would cover if i would have bet becasue I thought the MSU team that came out in the first half was going to play like that the whole game and thats how they played against Kansas! But they finally looked like the team they are and they are scary!!!! Its ok everyone will say they have no chance vs Uconn either!

but the fact of the matter is the big ten has a higher conference RPI than the big east. do not expect the people here to know that though. i have had no fewer than 15 people PM me about louisville and their supposed "double digit victory" and nobody could give me a good cap then either. i love those big ML cashes too!

I dont see any mismatches between Spartans and UConn. I hope they make UConn a huge favorite so I can jump all over MSU. I think it will be close, although I give a very slight edge to UConn. Izzo is a smart man and great coach.
