I am sure all you have read all the reasons for both sides, and my heart says villanova.... but this is about making money, and pitt is the right side.... too many big bodies for villanova to contend with.... The difference between duke and pitt is that puke had no one to create shots down low for them if the outside shot was not dropping....... pitt will not have this problem, keep things tight and a even a short shooting slump for the wildcats will do them in.....

dont be a douche. i think he was asking an honest question without having to take the time to look anything up. nova won the only meeting and they did it at home. if you cant win a conf. game at home, you got no business playing and its no secret how huge homecourt adv. is in the big east.

there are arguments for both teams to win but this game is a coinflip and after the game, there will be plenty of kids coming out sayin "i told you they would win" like they are nostradamus or some shit. save your money. theres no real fav. and like i said, this game is a coinflip.

Nobody has homecourt advantage in this game and Villanova has proven they can beat Pitt (although, like you said, with homecourt advantage). The biggest reason I think Nova wins is because they have looked much better in the tournament thus far.

I am not saying there is no way Pitt wins. It should be a very close game. All im saying is if you want to make a bet from a logical and statistical standpoint you will pick Villanova. If you think you are better off using more abstract thoughts like home court advantage, and what if Blair wasn't in foul trouble, you may want to pick Pitt.

I agree with you that anyone who posts after the game that they KNEW the winning team was gonna win is lying. Right now noone knows for sure who will win this game.

My oh my….. what a ballgame last night! ….. a classic, the best basketball game of the year so far….. Pittsburgh and Villanova traded baskets, back and forth for 40 solid minutes, with the game winner coming in the last second of the game. A well executed game, great defense, clutch shooting, neither team deserved to lose. The difference in the end was free-throw shooting. Villanova was a spectacular 22/23 from the charity stripe, allowing them to stay in the game and setting themselves up for the last minute lead and eventual game winner.

A great effort by Pitt in a game that could have gone either way, and I did lose, but I can't be upset about how they lost. In hindsight, everyone knew this was going to be a back and forth battle and the best play would have been to lay off of this one.

I lost some cash, but I broke even for the day.... My heart was with Villanova and I hope they can pull the upset against UNC in the next round.....

Agreed Bob - I had Pitt but I have never been so happy to lose a bet in my life. I can see it now if Pitt could have gone all the way. All the Pittsburgh fans would have been wearing their Steelers Jackets and their Pitt basketball shirts. Funny how you never see any Pirates gear. I wonder why?
