as for SOS, ken pom has Purdue with 48th toughest schedule, X with 66th, so not a huge difference. more specifically, X played really tough out-of-conf schedule, but Purdue's conf schedule more than enough to make up for it.

Pittsburgh. I know no one thinks it - but realistically, Purdue should scare UConn. If the Boilers find their outside stroke early ... watch out.

Xavier is tough, but Pitt's seniors and experienced guys really have the Elite 8 marked as what they want to finally get to. Sam Young is the balls.
