Marquette G Dominic James cleared to play

Boise, Idaho - In a stunning development, senior guard Dominic James has been cleared to play Sunday in the Marquette Golden Eagles' second-round NCAA tournament game against the Missouri Tigers.
James suffered a broken bone in his left foot Feb. 25, early in a game against Connecticut, and underwent surgery to have a screw inserted into it two days later.
The injury initially was expected to be season-ending. But over the past week James underwent numerous tests, an individual workout Friday and then practiced with the Golden Eagles for 90 minutes Saturday.
With no pain in the foot, James was given the all-clear to play late Saturday night.

Wow.....I realize there is a big difference between a broken bone in the foot and a sore big toe, but we all saw the spark Lawson provided to the Heels today. I think Marquette will keep it close and if James can play through the pain and let adrenaline takeover in the 2nd Half I like the Golden Eagles chances in this one.
      Nice find yisman

Definitely agree with head strong in reference to Lawson. This is a tough game to call though. Take away James and I see Missouri taking this game with relative ease, but with James in its hard to say in my opinion. The Eagles definitely showed a big drop off in performance with him out, but is he 100%? Missouri has been playing great ball lately but at the same time they've had their best performances at home. I think it'll be close which would lean Marq +4, but you never know.
