    Syracuse = Trap?
    The line opened at Syr -2.5. According to thespread.com and Vegas Insider, over 80% of the side action is on Syracuse. So can anyone explain to me why the line is moving in the wrong direction? It's moved at most books to a -2. I even see a -1.5.

    If that many people are loading up on Syracuse, why do the books seems so eager to invite even more of that action?

    well the public has been winning the entire tournement even on reverse line movement so I would not look too much into it

      It's hard not to look into it a little when the numbers are this glaring. The line was at 3.0 and 2.5 and people were hammering Syracuse. No reason to give the 'cuse another .5 or full point when you are already getting plenty of action on them at 3 or 2.5. It just doesn't make sense unless you really want people loading up on Syracuse. Why are they trying to bait everyone onto this hook?

      I'm gonna play easy on ASU tomorrow. Maybe a soft ML bet. I can rationalize the pick. ASU is a damn good team and they can easily win this game. This line is the clincher for me though. If I hadn't lost my nerve after a rough day today, I'd probably go bigger on a hunch.

          I think -2.5 should be enough for them to cover easily

                What I saw in the last couple of days is that Pac 10 teams cannot play a physical game. We saw what happened to UCLA after a few hard foul. They just fall like a stack of domino. Do you guys think Zona St can play a physical game and grind it out? Cuse can feed off of momentum. They can be really good or really bad depending on the flow of the game.
