Please sell me on Memphis...

Many people have them in the final four...I don't get it. They play in a weak conference. They played 4 teams in the tourney, Xavier, Syracuse, TN and the Zags... they went 2-2, barely beating TN. They played 3 teams that were ranked, going 1-2. They lost to G-town and Syracuse but beat the Zags on the road... that's not exactly an impressive resume. I realize they play great defense, have NBA talent and the losses were early but, they don't seem very tested. Oh, and their leading scorer is a freshman.

How are they going to potentially beat a Uconn team that was tested all year? I'm not exactly sold on Uconn but, Memphis isn't doing much for me either. Please, tell me what I'm missing here.

"but beat the Zags on the road... that's not exactly an impressive resume" exactly and the Zags come in as a top 15 team. Memphis got better once they put Evans at PG. He changes that team to being almost "unguaradable." Evans is too big for other PGs and too fast for SG's to have too defend. Ride their soft spreads cuz they are legit, they still have 2 Forwards, from last year, who smash every game.
