    Lawson out vs Radford?

ESPN quoted North Carolina coach Roy Williams Monday night as saying injured point guard Ty Lawson will sit out Thursday's opening round NCAA tournament game vs. Radford if he doesn't participate in practice today and Wednesday.

“If Ty doesn't participate in at least half the practice (today) and the full practice Wednesday, he won't play Thursday,” Williams said.

Lawson, the ACC Player of the Year, missed UNC's two ACC Tournament games last week with a jammed right big toe.

No. 1 seed UNC plays No. 16 Radford at 2:50 p.m. Thursday at the Greensboro Coliseum.
I hope the line comes down by a few points

I think he will play, he could have played in the championship game if they had made it that far last weeked so I think he will play to get any rust off in time for the 2nd round game on Saturday. I am loving the over in this game. Radford can put up points and UNC plays no defense once they are up 20. Last year they went way over in the first and second round games. Against Wake, Raford gave up 88 and against WV they gave up 89 so I see another 110 performance by UNC. Going to take UNC as well, as long as Lawson is a go of course.

Take it from me ACC, he is not playing, Roy Williams said he wasn't going to play him at all and they won't have to use him much in the second round game either. But as for the first round game, UNC will completely destroy Radford anyways.

It won't matter. You could maybe make a case for the total going under if Lawson is out maybe. Think it's at 164, but I watched some of that Radford/VMI game - UNC doesn't shoot the 3 as much as VMI, but with Radford's D and UNC's pace - the total could easily go into the 180s still.
